About This Listing

Where your dog is as welcome as you are.

We know your dog is as much a part of the family as the people within it – this is why we go all out to make them feel at home. Happy dogs, happy people! We provide a cosy bed, with blanket and bowls, home made dog treats and fabulous rain water to welcome your canine pal on arrival. We even leave some furniture cover sheets for the couch potatoes among the party. Your dog will love the open spaces and long bush walks. Our huge dam is securely fenced so that your dog/s can be off leash for some happy galloping and perhaps a swim or two. The yards around the cottages also ensure that they can play with relish and you don’t need to worry about them running off into the bush after all those interesting new smells. Because our cottages are at least 50 – 75 meters apart, there is minimal risk of finding another dog on the other side of your fence. Your Assistance Animals are, naturally, most welcome too!

Countrywide Cottages is just 90 minutes from Melbourne, 25 minutes inland from Lorne and the Great Ocean Road.

Choose from our 4 secluded Great Ocean Road accommodation cottages spread over 26 acres of farm and pristine bushland. One of our cottages provides purpose built wheelchair accessible accomodation Otway Ranges.

One of our 3 bedroom self contained cottages which sleeps up to 6 people. It has 2 master bedrooms, each with queen beds. The 3rd bedroom has two single beds. Now with a huge fenced in area out front for your children or dogs to play in while still being held close to home. Security and peace of mind for mums and dads!

Country wide cottages has supplied us with the best holiday ever! The cottage had all the comforts of home with the bonus of being in a beautiful location. Our 4 dogs had plenty of room to run and explore in the fenced yard and then the paths around the property were spectacular. Cannot recommend this place highly enough, we will be back!

Such a welcoming place for people and dogs in a spectacular bush location. Clean, thoughtful attention to detail, we left feeling so serene and relaxed and our two dogs had a ball.

This is my favourite place to holiday with our dogs. Beautiful bush scenery, large secure yard, clean, welcoming and a fireplace for roasting marshmellows!
